PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) appear set to have three more naturalised Malaysian players in their ranks. 

According to the publicly accessible Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) competition management system, Australian centreback Shane Lowry, Brazilian striker Bergson da Silva and Argentinian winger Manuel Hidalgo are registered as Malaysians.

They did not carry any of the indicators normally used to identify foreign players.  

In the system, foreign players are usually listed as I (International), A (Asia) and S (Southeast Asia), and the three players were not listed as such in the system. 

Lowry, Da Silva and Hidalgo have played in Malaysia for more than five seasons, which enables them to get a Malaysian passport as naturalised players.
