The F1 Chinese Grand Prix took place in Shanghai this past weekend, and the special guest for Saturday’s (April 20) sprint race was none other than our very own JJ Lin. The 43-year-old, who is a fan of F1, was invited to hand out plaques to the top three placing drivers, Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, and Sergio Perez.

One commentator for the race, however, clearly did not know who JJ was. As the singer took the stage, the commentator was heard saying: “This young guy is a lucky audience member picked from a crowd of racing fans to present the awards.”
