JJ Lin fans got a scare when one of his dancers on stage fell onto a rising platform during the Singaporean singer’s Hong Kong concert on May 25.
In a viral video, JJ, 44, could be seen ascending onto the stage via a stage lift while performing his hit ‘Love Chronicles’.
A female dancer near JJ was dancing close to the edge, she then misstepped and fell into the platform gap.
The terrifying moment drew gasps and screams from the audience.
Noticing this, JJ stopped singing and rushed forward to help her up. Only after checking that the dancer was not hurt did he resume his performance.
The dancer regained her composure and continued the routine, drawing applause from the audience for her professionalism.
A concertgoer said JJ appeared shaken by the incident and had a slight tremble in his voice.
The incident sparked plenty of buzz online, with netizens urging organisers to prioritise stage safety.
Fans also praised JJ for his quick reflexes and caring gesture.
“He didn’t act like a superstar at all — just a genuinely caring person,” commented a netizen.

Regardless of who you are, it is good, to help if you happen to be around the place where someone has fallen.
