KUCHING (March 24): The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has instructed its teams to halt all major road maintenance works, including lane closures along the Pan Borneo Highway, during this festive season to ease traffic congestion.

JKR Sarawak director Dr Cassidy Morris said the move aligned with Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi’s directive of suspending all highway lane closures from March 24 to April 7, during Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
