16 Jul - Jaclyn Victor recently dismissed the notion that she was trying to hide her second marriage, after she tied the knot with Methodist Minister, Dr Calvin T. Samuel back in May.

Speaking to the media nearly two months after her wedding, the singer said that she decided not to make a public announcement prior to her marriage due to the fact that it is not her first time.

"I chose not to publicise it. I am at this age and this is not my first marriage. And it's not like I was trying to keep it a secret forever. Even friends have been sharing about it on social media," she said.

When asked what drew her to Calvin, she said, "He is tall, dark and handsome. He is also kind and calm. I like the way he treats my kids. He spends a lot of time with them."

Jac, who met the Barbadian when he visited Malaysia and saw her perform, added that her husband is also a good listener, and that it made it easy for her to communicate with him.

Prior to Calvin, Jac was married to singer Shawn Rivera and welcomed her two kids, Jonah and Molly. The marriage ended in 2019.
