SINGAPORE - A man who sent an intimate video of a woman to a Telegram group chat and to online personality Kurt Tay has been jailed.

On Jan 22, Augustus Wong Wen Loong, 41, was sentenced to 10 months and two weeks’ jail after he pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing and distributing an intimate recording, and for harassing a second woman.

Three other charges were taken into consideration for his sentencing.

The court heard that Wong knew the two victims through Tay , 42, whose real name is Tay Foo Wei.

Tay, who has been charged over distributing obscene material and sending threatening messages, is known for his antics including carrying a World Wrestling Entertainment belt and getting breast implants.

The identities of the women cannot be revealed due to a gag order.
