Despite his marmite-like popularity amongst boxing fans, Jake Paul is making a generous gesture to all fighters on the undercard.

Many have praised the YouTube star for earning less in his fight in order for others to earn a bit more.

The Mirror reports that all the other boxers, from Tommy Fury to Tyron Woodley, will all make career-high winnings because of Jake's gesture.

He said: "It's coming out of my pockets for sure.

"Like, directly out of my purse.

"Everyone on the card is getting the biggest pay-day that they've ever had as a fighter and that's just part of my movement.

"Look, these fighters deserve more and I want everyone to be excited and I want everyone to know that we as fighters should take care of each other."

Although Jake's good deed will help the other boxers earn more, he's still going to earn a nice chunk of the cash.

According to sportingfree.com, the-23-year-old is guaranteed $1 million and his total pay-out is set to be $2 million after the PPV numbers come in.

Tyron Woodley, 39, is set to earn half of what Jake's getting, which is $500,000 upfront and an estimated $1 million after PPV.

The fight will take place in the US tonight (Aug 29) and is set for eight rounds due to the weight limit being set at 190lbs (cruiserweight).

It will be a late one for Brits that want to tune in, as coverage starts at 1 am BST on Monday Aug 30.

The ring walks are set to take place around 4am UK time and the match is said to start around 5am.

Timings are subject to change and depends on the results and duration of the events on the undercard.

The fight is hosted in Cleveland, Ohio at the Rocket Mortgage Field House which is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team.

The YouTuber, turned boxer, says he is ready for his fourth professional fight versus the former MMA man.

Some are not quite buying into the idea that a YouTuber like Jake can just transform into a pro boxer.

However, his sparring partner, Anthony Taylor, who happens to be Tommy Fury's next opponent, has come to the defence of Logan's younger brother.

According to Sky Sports, Taylor said: "Jake is not a YouTuber anymore.

"He is a pro boxer.

"People say Jake doesn't take it seriously. I'm with him every day. His growth in three years is equivalent to someone else's growth in six years."
