While COVID-19 has understandably inundated with the film industry with a litany of delays and related temporary setbacks, James Gunn has assured those waiting on his next two projects that previously announced dates should hold.

On Sunday, Gunn explained in a series of tweets that both The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 remain currently unaffected with regards to dates. However, Gunn was also candid about the fact that some factors—as in the sharing of official Squad images and trailers, etc.—have been "slowed" by the novel coronavirus’ impact on the industry at large.
