Japan changed prime ministers 10 times in 20 years

Japan welcomed a new prime minister on Sep. 16, 2020.
This was after Shinzo Abe's surprise resignation at the end of August.
Yoshihide Suga, who was formerly Abe's closest aide and the Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, was elected by the Diet as Abe's successor.

Japanese value quality of their work so any negative voice over their tenure , they would automatically stepped down as they feel their incompetence is disgrace to themselves n their country ..unlike our sg politics ..even making big mistakes as long as the party is in power ..continue as usual..no heads roll..no accountability..very difficult culture
