Jason Kelce nearly took the term “parenting mishap” to new heights.

The former Philadelphia Eagles player narrowly avoided a catastrophe after he enlisted his and wife Kylie Kelce’s daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 4 months, to help him work on his golf swing.

In a video posted on his YouTube page Aug. 23, Jason had his older kids film him practicing his swing before Wyatt took a turn teeing up. As she wound her pink golf club back, she fortunately didn’t make contact with Bennett, who spontaneously ran behind her seconds earlier.

“Nailed it!” Jason exclaimed after Wyatt took her shot. “That was almost a disaster.”

Besides hitting the golfing range, Jason has also embarked on a weight loss journey since retiring from the NFL in 2023. In fact, he showed off his buff biceps on Instagram earlier this month in a set of workout pics taken at Alpha Phlyte Fitness, which the fitness studio captioned, “When hungry dogs run faster.”

And while the retired football star’s body transformation certainly didn’t happen overnight, he was clear about his goal weight from the start.

“I weighed 295 for the majority of my NFL career, and I look forward to losing some of those pounds,” he said in an interview with GQ in June 2024. “I feel like for some reason, 250 to 260 feels like I'll be still big and be happy with the way I look without having a six-pack. But I’ll still be able to have that stature a little bit.”

But Jason wasn’t just concerned with his looks, noting that he was feeling the physical benefits of his new fitness routine as well.

“My back already feels better,” he revealed. “My knees already feel better. So another 20 pounds hopefully will make me that much more adept at playing with my children.”

In October 2019, Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce welcomed their first baby together, a daughter named Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce.

Their second daughter Elliotte Ray Kelce joined the family two years later.

One year after Elliotte's arrival, Kylie shared that "another Kelce lady" would be added to the bunch with an adorable set of photos.

In February 2023, the couple welcomed their third child, with her arrival coming nearly two weeks after Jason faced off against brother Travis Kelce at the 2023 Super Bowl.

Jason shared a glimpse at his oldest daughters holding a huge prize in May 2023, writing on Instagram, "Never in a million years did I think I’d hold the Larry O’Brien trophy, let alone that it would be in my house!!"

"Unbelievable honor to see it in person," he continued. "The size is incredible, looks so small when NBA players are holding it, but it’s actually massive!! The girls were very interested in it."

The family of five hit the field in August 2023, with Kylie joking in an Instagram post, "Here for the Rita’s and obstacle courses with dad after practice."

Jason and Kylie rang in Wyatt's fourth birthday in October 2023 on the Philadelphia Eagles' home turf. As Kylie noted on Instagram, "We were celebrating a 4th birthday when the Birds went 4-0."

Kylie shared this pic of Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett on Instagram in June 2024, writing, "Parents know… 2 out of 3 isn’t bad!"

Jason's mom Donna Kelce commented, "The cutest beautiful bunch of 'lucky charms' under that rainbow!!!!"

Jason and Kylie welcomed their fourth baby girl Finnley "Finn" Anne Kelce on March 30, 2025.
