After four marriages, Jennifer Lopez is taking a different view on the institution.

The 55-year-old superstar had a cute, but candid, response to a fan who held up a sign reading, “J. Lo, marry me?” She was onstage performing at one of her Up All Night tour dates in Europe when a concertgoer captured the iconic footage.

The video, posted on X on July 16, revealed her hilarious response. “I think I’m done with that,” she said while laughing and making a “never again” gesture. “I’ve tried that a few times. Oh, anyway…”

You can’t fault her for having that reaction. After her divorce from Affleck, which was finalized in January, Lopez is ready for a reset, and her tour is a big part of that. She also has a star-making role in Kiss of the Spider Woman, which is set to make amajor award-show run in the fall. Let’s just say, J.Lo isn’t thinking about her exes right now.

Lopez’s first marriage was to Ojani Noa, which lasted from 1997 to 1998. She followed up that short-lived union by marrying backup dancer and choreographer Cris Judd in 2001 — they divorced in 2003. She settled down with singer Marc Anthony in 2004, with whom she shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme. After 10 years of marriage, they called it quits in 2014.

Still, her headline-generating reunion with Affleck might have been the one that broke her heart. They wed in 2022 after their first engagement went kaput in 2004. By spring 2024, they were done, even though their former $68 million estate hasn’t found a buyer after over a year on the market. They recently pulled the listing, per Realtor.com.

Lopez described her 2004 split from Affleck to Today in 2014 as her “first big heartbreak.” The former duo probably thought 18 years apart and a little self-reflection would be the key to a successful reconciliation. Unfortunately, the second time around wasn’t as magical as they had hoped.
