Jeremy Clarkson recalled feeling a sense of disappointment after realising his favourite childhood classics had disturbing adult themes.

The Grand Tour host, 62, explained that specific children’s programmes weren’t as ‘innocent’ as they seemed with some shows alluding to drug use, while other shows featured predatory figures like Jimmy Savile.

While reminiscing on his ‘pure childhood,’ he wrote: ‘Enough already. I don’t want to know any more things about all of the stuff I used to love because it’s messing with my head.
