Jing Xuan smashes national record to win javelin silver

BANGKOK: Ng Jing Xuan smashed the national record by more than three metres to clinch silver in the women's javelin final at the SEA Games.
The 21-year-old Sarawakian hurled the javelin 52.17m at the Supachalasai Stadium here on Saturday (Dec 13) erasing the previous national record of 49.34m set by Siti Nur Nadiah Othman at the 2014 Thailand Open.
