JoJo Siwa is reflecting on the time she kept up with North West.

The “Boomerang” singer revealed how she wound up babysitting the 11-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West back in 2019—which the two filmed for a YouTube video—as North “was a big fan at the time.”

“I think I said, ‘If North ever wanted to be in a video, I would love to have her,’” JoJo, 22, recalled during an appearance on the June 5 episode of the Rosebud with Gyles Brandreth podcast. “‘I do these babysitting videos—I normally do it with YouTuber kids, but I could do it for fun with North.’”

The Dance Moms alum—who is dating Chris Hughes—shared that Kim, 44, immediately jumped onboard, even suggesting that cameras capture the get-together for her E! reality series.

“She was like, ‘Oh my God, I would love to. Could we film it for my show?’” JoJo continued. “I was like, ‘Your show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians? Yeah, sure.’”

Kim and North, according to JoJo, were “just so calm, so sweet, so down to earth, so nice, good people.”

Since then, North has gone on to appear in music videos, magazine spreads and even a star-studded stage production of The Lion King. Still, Kim—who also shares kids Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kanye—has previously said she’s careful about which opportunities she lets her firstborn pursue.

“She'll get an offer to do a photo shoot or something, and we really sit and talk about it as a family,” the SKIMS founder shared during an appearance on Sara Foster and Erin Foster's World's First Podcast in January. "Like, ‘Should she do this? What's too much? What's not?’”

But given her family’s high profile, Kim confessed the answer to that question is not an obvious one.

“They're already in it, right? Because just of who their parents are,” she went on. “And so I try to protect that and be so mindful of them being their own people and them not feeling like they have to be in our shadows.”

The SKIMS founder shares an adorable video of herself doing North's hair.

Kim supported North as she dressed up as dad Kanye West on TikTok while singing his "Bound 2" song, which Kim originally starred in in 2013.

Two days before Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, Kim and North were all smiles at a pre-wedding dinner celebration. The SKIMS mogul posted pics from the evening with the caption, "Best Date Ever."

"Good Night!" Kim captioned a sweet photo next to a smiling North in May 2021. 

For this photo with North and Saint, Kim simply put a red heart a emoji in the caption.
