9 Jul - Joey Yung has recently denied the notion that she will be holding a concert at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Kowloon at the end of the year.

The singer, who spoke to the media at the press conference of the upcoming Hong Kong International Balloon Festival, stated that she only said "see you in Kai Tak", but never actually said any specific date.

"Of course, I hope to hold a concert at the Kai Tak Sports Park. That's a dream for many singers. But now it's already July, so doing it by year-end would be too rushed," she said.

Asked if she would do it next year instead, she responded, "Hopefully."

However, Joey said that she has no idea if an application has been made, saying that that's the job of her management team.

"My job is to keep myself in good shape at all times," she said, adding that she has been experiencing serious pain in her right shoulder recently and will undergo an MRI scan.

"My shoulder probably hurts from years of dance rehearsals and strenuous movements, plus I accidentally bumped into something earlier. So now I've got new and old injuries combined. I'm already like an old, worn-out soldier. First my knees started hurting, now it's my shoulder. If I don't hold a concert soon, who knows what body part will start hurting next?" she said.
