Johor police seized RM100m worth of drugs in 2024

JOHOR BARU: Johor police wrapped up 2024 with a record-breaking crackdown on drug trafficking, seizing 7.3 tonnes of narcotics worth RM99.76 million and dismantling 25 syndicates.
Police chief Datuk M. Kumar said police conducted 21,093 raids across Felda settlements, private plantations, fishermen's jetties, public housing projects and bus terminals.
This led to 25,065 arrests, the third-highest nationwide.
