Abercrombie

Promising review: "I already had the same skirt from two years ago in a different color, and it’s of great quality as well as great fit. Perfect for a casual but also business casual look." —S

Get it from Abercrombie & Fitch for $72 (originally $90; available in XXS–XXL and three colors).

3. A zip-up sweatshirt you can make as warm as you want, depending on what you place underneath. You can wear it solo for a lightweight covering or over long-sleeve tops for super-cozy warmth.

4. A pair of tailored taper pants in a juicy red that'll let you get away with wearing super casual bottoms to work. These pants are ripe for the picking and can be elevated with a blazer and block heels just as easily as they can be made casual with a sweatshirt and sneakers.

Asos

5. A long-sleeve T-shirt perfect for that in-between weather where the sun is out, but it doesn't exactly offer any heat. It's not so heavy that you can't wear it with your shorts on a warm day, and it's not so light that you can't wear it without a jacket with your favorite jeans.

American Eagle

Promising reviews: "I am obsessed with this shirt! I already ordered a second color." —Court

"I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SHIRT!" —Danaa

Get it from American Eagle for $24.46 (originally $34.95; available in sizes XXS–XXL and three colors).

Free People

Promising reviews: "Such a good jacket to have as a staple in your closet. Runs big. Love the fabric. Goes with seriously anything and could be used for all four seasons here in UT." —Anonymous

"I’m absolutely in love with this jacket! I originally bought a size medium and expected it to be oversize, but it was a little too big for my liking. The back of the jacket poofs out, and it was too long. I sized down to a small and love how it looks/fits so much better. It is the perfect lightweight jacket for fall, and the quality is good. Definitely will be a new fall favorite!" —Anonymous

Get it from Free People for $168 (available in sizes XS–XL and seven colors).
