KUALA LUMPUR: Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd has received two contracts from China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd with a total value of RM17.9mil. It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia it had been appointed as the nominated sub-contractor for electrical installation works, which include supplying, delivering, installing, testing and commissioning of electrical services for three blocks of mixed development by Multibay Development Sdn Bhd, on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. Package A involves the electrical installation works for a 28-storey office block and a 60-storey condominium suite while Package B, on the other hand, entails the electrical installation works for a 37-storey hotel. Both packages are expected to be completed by Oct 31, 2023. "The contracts from CCYRM fundamentally add on to KAB’s credentials and reinforcing our track record in the M&E sector," said KAB managing director Datuk Lai Keng Onn.
