It’s Katy Perry‘s time to shine!

The 40-year-old pop star has been hard at work on her Lifetimes Tour, and now it’s time for her to take a much-needed break between her Australian leg and the U.S. dates. Instead of hitting the rehearsal studio, she spent a relaxing holiday weekend in Capri, Italy, on a yacht. The Daily Mail captured snapshots of Perry lounging in her black bikini, showing off her athletic figure — the glow-up is real!

Perry’s holiday isn’t a romantic one, though. She was amongst friends, including Canadian talent agent Michael Kives and tech executive Ben Schwerin, and most importantly, daughter Daisy, 4. The media outlet described the yacht excursion as “lighthearted and relaxed,” and there were no worries about her split from Bloom.

While the former couple’s representative assured Page Six on July 3 that their core focus is “love, stability, and mutual respect” for Daisy, there are still reported feelings about Bloom’s behavior at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s late June wedding in Venice, Italy. Perry has no problem with her ex pursuing new relationships, but she hoped that he would bemore private about his flirtations during this sensitive time.

“If he’s going to behave like an acting-up adolescent, that’s on him. She’s going to continue to work and take care of [their daughter] Daisy,” a source told the Daily Mail, “Katy knows that he’s free to do whatever the hell he wants to do, she hoped he’d do it a little more discreetly and thoughtfully. So, she’s disappointed and sad.”

But Bloom appears to be in his feelings, too. On July 2, he posted a moody quote from Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung on his Instagram Story, per E! News: “Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.”

It’s been a tough year for Perry with her breakup and the criticism surrounding the Blue Origin launch in April, but she’s already showing signs that things are looking up. Her single-gal era might be her strongest one yet.
