Katy Perry turned emotional while wrapping up the final show of the Australian leg of her The Lifetimes Tour — her first stage appearance after her reported breakup with her longtime partner Orlando Bloom.

The American singer-songwriter was addressing the audience at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre while doing a hand heart, as seen in a clip shared by a fan account on X.

“Thank you for always being there for me, Australia! It means the world,” she said as tears rolled down her cheeks. She then shrugged it off and shouted, “Now let’s sing Firework!”

In the middle of the show, Perry also experienced a prop malfunction after the large metal sphere where she was in tilted. Fortunately, the singer was able to hold on to the bar in the middle of the sphere to keep her balance until the stage crew members came to help her.

Perry’s Adelaide show was held just days after reports of her breakup with Bloom circulated on June 25.

Perry and Bloom, who had been together for about nine years and got engaged in 2019, share a four-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove.  – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
