PETALING JAYA: Kedah have been handed a three-point deduction for the 2024-2025 Super League season and fined RM50,000 for failing to fully settle their salary arrears for 2023.

Malaysian Football League (MFL) First Instance Body (FIB) chairman Sheikh Mohd Nasir Sheikh Mohd Sharif said in a statement that the punishment was made after the Canaries were found to have failed to meet the conditions set for the full settlement of the salary arrears on March 30.
