There have been a lot of rumblings about Kelly Clarkson and the status of her daytime talk show. The 42-year-old pop star reportedly wants to take a break from the grind of The Kelly Clarkson Show to spend more time with her children, River, 10, and Remington, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. 

But there might be more substance to that rumor after she took an unplanned absence from the popular show due to a “personal matter.” Now, NewsNation is reporting that Blackstock’s health might be the issue surrounding Clarkson’s desire to exit her daytime role.
