NEW YORK, Feb 2 — For the second year running, Kendrick Lamar is living his best life at the Grammys.

After scooping up five prizes last year, the 38-year-old Lamar yesterday won five more including Record of the Year, cementing his status as one of contemporary music’s most impactful writers.

The Pulitzer Prize winner’s music has made him a household name and a rare artist whose work is commercially successful but who is not dependent on a constant content churn.
