4 Jul – While both their daughters are making their singing debut, Kenny Bee sees no issue for his daughter Blythe to be compared to Eason Chan's daughter Constance.

The singer, who was asked for his two cents on Constance's recent debut with her single, "Doll", said that he has been paying attention and praised her for her talent.

"They are just doing what they should do. Although they are the second-generation stars, they did not rise to the top overnight. They just have the advantage of getting more attention at the starting line, but ultimately, in this industry, it's still about one's own strength," he said.

Asked if he had given Blythe any advice, Kenny said that he told his daughter to learn by doing.

"She has been walking around the Hong Kong Coliseum since she was a child. Even the security guards recognise her," he said.

At the same time, Kenny said he is proud of Blythe and her achievements, especially after she made it to the Beijing Film Academy as a postgraduate student following her graduation from London College of Arts.

"The process was difficult. Her graduate exam process was not easy either... But she is getting started now," he added.
