KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have expressed their condolences to the British royal family over the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Istana Negara, in a statement posted on its official Facebook page today, said the late Queen Elizabeth II would be remembered by both The Majesties, the government and the people of Malaysia for her unwavering commitment to the Commonwealth, of which Malaysia is a member, including her efforts to promote stronger ties between the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
