KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 25): Following the dramatic political developments in the country the past two days, today saw Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granting audiences to MPs to appraise for himself the situation.

From 2.30 pm till 6pm, His Majesty interviewed 90 out of the 222 MPs and will see the remaining tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who was appointed interim prime minister following the collapse of the ruling Pakatan Harapan coalition on Monday, was back at his office in Putrajaya today.
