Swedish payment company Klarna has partnered with the consumer finance app OnePay to offer installment loans for purchases at Walmart in the United States.
This collaboration replaces Affirm, the previous partner, whose shares dropped by 12% in premarket trading following the announcement.
The partnership will allow Walmart customers to access flexible payment plans directly at checkout, both online and in-store, starting this year.
Approved users can repay their loans over terms ranging from three to 36 months through the OnePay app.
