KUANTAN: A Pakatan Harapan lawmaker has urged for the public consultation sessions on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report in connection with Lynas's proposed permanent disposal facility (PDF) to be immediately called off.

Kuantan Member of Parliament Fuziah Salleh said the site is still ranked as an Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) under the Kuantan District Local Plan 2035, and its (land) status has not changed.
