Kylie Jenner Playfully Calls Out Kids Stormi and Aire for “Fake Crying”

Kylie Jenner isn’t falling for the crocodile tears.

The Kardashians star shared a sweet moment with her kids Stormi Webster, 7, and Aire Webster, 3—who she shares with ex Travis Scott—during which she jokingly chided them for faking their emotions.

In the June 2 video posted on Kylie’s Instagram Stories, the duo pretended to cry on her lap as they traveled on a plane. And as Stormi leaned into the dramatics by yelling “mommy,” her toddler brother followed suit with a wide smile. After a while of harmonized wails, Kylie called out their “fake crying,” which caused the siblings to break character and laugh.

The 27-year-old—who is currently dating Timothée Chalamet—followed that up with a clip of her son playing in his seat, writing, “My silly boyyyy.”

This isn’t the first time Kylie’s kids have shown their personalities on social media. Stormi and her aunt Kim Kardashian, 44, had Aire play the viral fruit snack challenge in April, where they tested him to see if he’ll eat the candy when he was alone.

“You can have these gummy worms,” Stormi, who played the same game with her mom in May 2020, told her brother in the April 20 video. “When me, mommy and Kim go to the bathroom—and we come back, you can have all of them.”

“Don’t eat them,” she continued, to which Kylie added, “But you have to wait.”

But despite the long wait, Aire fought the temptation to eat the fruit snacks and won the challenge.

And while the Kylie Cosmetics founder enjoys sharing these lighthearted moments with her kids, she had to learn how to adjust her life to make space for these memories. In fact, she revealed that motherhood opened new doors for her to evolve—both as a mom of two little ones and as a person.

“The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies,” she told Elle last October. “It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”

And that road to confidence wasn’t a breeze, as Kylie noted that she wasn’t prepared for all the physical changes that come with being pregnant. But despite the transformation, she’s no longer downplaying how far she’s come in her self-love journey.

“I have to give my younger self grace,” she continued. “I don’t like to have too many regrets in life. I think my path is what got me here today. I’m happy with where I am and just have to keep moving forward.”
