LPG tanks in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park catch fire

KOTA KINABALU: Some 150 liquified petroleum gas (LPG) gas tanks stored in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) caught fire on Monday evening (Jan 20).
A crew of 16 were sent by the Fire and Rescue Department here to back up 13 firemen who were dispatched earlier from the Tuaran fire station when the report came in at 6.28pm
No casualties were reported during the incident along Jalan 1 KKIP Selatan, according to the department.
