Japanese music icon Kitaro will be making a grand return to Singapore with The Best of Kitaro World Tour in Singapore 2025, happening on 17 September at The Star Theatre. The one-night-only concert promises an unforgettable evening of spiritual soundscapes and genre-defying compositions that have defined his four-decade career. This special event is presented by JP Entertainment, Shaw Brothers Live Entertainment, and FriedRice Entertainment.

A pioneer of New Age and instrumental music, Kitaro is known for his lush, atmospheric works that blend traditional Japanese instrumentation with electronic synthesis and Western influences. His groundbreaking soundtrack for NHK’s The Silk Road and collaborations with artists like Mickey Hart and Jon Anderson introduced his music to audiences around the world. With 17 Grammy nominations, a Grammy win, and a Golden Globe under his belt, Kitaro’s music has touched millions across continents.

At the upcoming concert, fans can expect a soul-stirring showcase of his most beloved tracks including ‘Matsuri’, ‘Caravansary’, and ‘Heaven and Earth’. The performance will also spotlight selections from Zen: Live in Katsuyama, a recent release captured during a stunning live show at Japan’s tallest seated Buddha. With a focus on peace, reflection, and unity, Kitaro’s music continues to resonate with listeners across cultures and generations.

Tickets for the Singapore show go on sale at 10AM on 17 July via Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from S$88 to S$288. Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of Kitaro live in concert.
