haa.. noone can fortell wat would happen, if wrong den many wld blame agn alamak, if anthr epidemic occurs how? at least they still have funds & all ppl who c doc oso cheaper during needy periods slowly improve laa y? i think we shldnt force sm1 to do the extra work to fortell the unknown future, instead shld come up or improve plans mah... imagine ur boss ask u whch stocks to invest in the nex 20yrs, dun think u'll feel good ya, waste time lah..

welps in this case it does not only consider small elements such as wellbeing of the nation, but like the relations with neighbouring countries as well & much more other factors, like u said so wat if he gives u an *expected future expenditure*, its not promised, wat if touchwood some catastrophie hits & it cant be guaranteed, will u be sure u wld not blame the person who gave it to you, its not like a few months or yrs, is 20yrs bro heiyo is... like even some insurance agent cant specify how much the returns wld be in the future, but can show u the stats of how the company is workin in recent yrs instd & plan from thr

Old people choose to work for various reasons. Therefore, it may not be a fair conclusion to point the finger at the government. For those who want to work, at least they can choose to do so and the government is encouraging the employers to employ the old folks who want to work. The government subsidise them for doing so. This is one way the government is helping; whether they need to work or just to past time.
