Welcome to our Liverpool.com media watch piece. Maybe not the first, we've definitely done transfer round-ups before, and European round-ups, so I guess in some ways it's not that new at all. Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds.***Robertson making swift progressA little over a week on from suffering ligament damage, Andy Robertson is back running on the grass.Things briefly looked bleak for the Scotland captain, with his ankle taking a horrible turn during the Athletic Club friendly. Robertson was quick to confirm that scans had showed nothing too serious, but the words ligament damage are never exactly reassuring. Nor were the photos of the 27-year-old leaving the hospital on crutches. However, it seems the left-backs assessment was right. There is no need to rush his return given the emergence of Kostas Tsimikas, but it does not look as though it will be too long before Robertson is available for selection once more.Aouar placed on transfer listLiverpools links to Houssem Aouar have cooled in recent months, but the clubs interest could be piqued by the news that the one-time target has been placed on the transfer list at Lyon. Thats according to RMC Sport, via Get French Football News. Coach Peter Bosz is said to be conducting something of a clearout, including the sensational decision to terminate Marcelos contract in partial response to a catastrophic performance in a 3-0 defeat to Angers. The same clearout could see Aouar leave at a lower price than has previously been asked for by the club Liverpool may smell a bargain. The 23-year-old has also been strongly linked with Arsenal, but a move to Anfield would make a lot of sense if there is any intention to try and replace Georginio Wijnaldum via the transfer market.Read MoreRelated ArticlesRead MoreRelated ArticlesHaaland tipped for Liverpool switchI could well imagine Liverpool for Haaland. Those were the words of Michael Rummenigge, former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich player. He also happens to be the brother of Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.Speaking to Sport1, Rummenigge highlighted the financial problems suffered by Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, two clubs which in the past would have seemed like obvious destinations. Other potential locations also seem obstructed. Chelsea have just spent huge money on Romelu Lukaku even by their standards, big spends on Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Lukaku and Haaland in the space of three summer transfer windows would surely be excessive. Manchester City are still trying their best to lure Harry Kane. That only leaves a handful of feasible locations: and, as discussed here, Liverpool could be a perfect fit. However, no Andy-Robertson-esque bargain was on offer, and the club baulked at the £40 million asking price. Fast forward a year, though, and reports suggest that the club would now be willing to part with a fee in this region. Transfer Market Web claim that Liverpool have readied a £40 million bid, and that the player has been made aware of this interest. It is even claimed that Sarr has gone as far as to ask permission to leave Watford. The 23-year-old continued to impress in the Championship, recording 13 goals and 10 assists on the way to helping Watford return straight to the Premier League. They marked this return with an impressive 3-2 win over Aston Villa, in which Sarr starred (and scored). The Senegal international has many attributes which will appeal to Liverpool.
