Jurgen Klopp may have to break his promise if Liverpool are to land their top transfer target next summer.The Reds boss previously said that the day he signs a £100million player would be the day that he no longer has a job. And the Reds ignored the opportunity to sign Kalvin Phillips earlier in the transfer window before the former Leeds United star sealed his switch to Manchester City. The England international is set to become one of the most sought-after names in world football next summer, with Borussia Dortmund refusing to grant his sale this summer after waving goodbye to his former teammate Erling Haaland. Top clubs including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all expected to make offers for the star which could increase his price if a bidding war breaks out.
