9 Jul - Although husband Law Kar Ying has declined chemotherapy and radiotherapy for his prostate cancer, Liza Wang recently said that the actor is doing well and working as usual.

The veteran actress, who spoke to the media at a TVB charity programme recently, seemed calm when asked about Law, saying that the actor continues what he does best as per usual despite the diagnosis.

"He enjoys working. And if he's not working, he goes out and has fun anyway," she said. "His condition is progressing very slowly, and there will be many new drugs in the future. I respect his decision."

Liza said that Law is currently on a tour in mainland China for his stage play and will return to Hong Kong for a short break later.

"He'll rehearse with me for the Fu Sing Cantonese Opera Troupe's November shows. This time we'll be performing two productions, 'Cyrano de Bergerac' and 'The Battle of Wancheng'. I'll also be performing in a new play in September," she said.

Liza then revealed that they will be going to Bhutan in November, adding, "Bhutan is known as the happiest country, and I have never been there."

It was back in June that Law announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time, and that he has decided not to undergo the invasive treatment this time around.

"I have another eight or nine years to live. Ninety years old is already a long life. What's the point of living longer? I'm not afraid at all," he said.
