Local Durians Are Now Almost 50% CHEAPER Due To Coronavirus Outbreak In China

It’s a bitter sweet thing but maybe durian fans should rejoice? Something heinous like Wuhan Coronavirus has single-handedly brought down Malaysia’s favourite king of fruit.
As reported by Malay Mail, the price of Malaysian durian has fallen in the past two weeks as there’s only a small demand from China due to the recent coronavirus outbreak.
Apart from that, the outbreak has also disrupted China’s logistic industry which directly impacted the local durian scene. A farmer in Segamat, Andy Tan shared that the prices of his durians have gone down by almost 50%. He elaborated,
