Denise Welch has landed a role on Hollyoaks for the next year.

For the next year the TV star will be playing Trish, mother of Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) a dance teacher ‘with a dark side’.

When she drops in in January 2021, everything won’t be exactly rosy between her and Maxine as her lover Brad ‘takes a shine’ to her daughter.
