Love Island twins Jess and Eve Gale are trembling as the first recoupling looms – but will they be split apart?

In the first look at tonight’s episode, the girls can all be seen gathering around the firepit for the first dumping of the series.

Side note: We’ve seriously missed the words, “The girl I want to couple up with”.

But, after Eve failed to make a firm connection with Callum Jones – who has been making Shaughna Phillips breakfast – and Jess was all-out snubbed by Mike Boateng, it isn’t looking good for the sisters.

And they don’t seem too thrilled by their chances.

However, with newcomers Connagh Howard and Finley Tapp making their first selections, it is all to play for.

The dumped contestant has already left the villa, and is reportedly being kept in a ‘safehouse’, before they eventually leave South Africa for good.

Jess and Eve haven’t had the easiest time of it in the villa, coming in a few hours after everyone else meant they were forced to steal men from the other girls.

Despite Jess picking Mike Boateng to couple up with on her second night in the villa, he unfortunately wasn’t feeling the same about her.

Instead he decided to snub sharing a bed with her in favour of jumping into the dog house, where he was quickly joined by Leanne Amaning.

While Eve seemed to be growing close to Callum, before he flipped the script and started grafting for Shaughna’s attention.

Worried about newcomer Connagh – aka Anthony Joshua’s brother, according to Sophie Piper – the scaffolder promptly woke up early to make her avocado on toast.

And to say she’s enjoying the attention is a complete understatement, as she joked to Paige Turley: ‘Yesterday he was ignoring me, today I’m getting breakfast.
