MACC arrests former agency staff suspected of misusing zakat funds meant for 28 recipients
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Kuala Lumpur has arrested a former statutory body employee for alleged involvement in a syndicate that misappropriated some RM120,000 in zakat (tithe) funds for 28 ineligible recipients.
