I am currently working in a company as a consultant, My job involves entertaining clients who are interested to invest.

So my day-to-day job requires me to talk to many people and sometimes I have to work late due to the pile of admin work.

The company is mid-sized and everyone knows everyone as we have to work together as a team to earn more, the boss’s daughter is also working in the company.

But our relationship is strictly professional and we do not have anything out of work.

So my girlfriend ended work early and decided to wake for me and the office lobby so we can go dinner and go home together.

I happened to exit the elevator with the boss’s daughter and said bye to her.

My girlfriend saw this and her face was more black than Justice Bao. (the guy with the moon)

By the time we get into the car, I asked how was her day the usual. But she refused to answer me.

We finally reached the place we wanted to have dinner and she started to say things like “I’m not hungry” and “I don’t want to eat”. Basically throwing a tantrum like a 5-year-old.

So I eventually have to coax the child-like girlfriend to talk. She finally revealed that she was unhappy because my colleague is too pretty.

Her words left me flabbergasted. I then answered: “So what? That has nothing to do with me”.

She then said she felt insecure.

But let me be clear before anyone judged me. I don’t drink, I don’t go out with friends. All my free time is given to my girlfriend. I remember every single anniversary and I am always concerned with her.

She told me to quit my job and find a new one.

I am doing actually quite well in my line of work and I told her that it is impossible to find a job that pays the same with the bad market.

She then accused me of cheating, saying that I want to work there so I can woo her.

This is not the first time she accused me out of her imagination. She always listens to her “friends” who puts these evil thoughts in her mind.

So I had enough and told her: “Since you do not believe whatever I say there is no point having this discussion, this is not the first time. This is it. Good bye”

I left her and remained single for 6 months.
