During a flight from Singapore to San Francisco, I sat next to a guy from some third-world country who had the worst BO of anybody I have ever encountered.

I had just sat down and got myself situated for the trip ahead, and this guy comes to sit down next to me. As soon as he sat down, I immediately thought NOPE.

You imagine you mixed rotten apples with fish sauce and the smell was so powerful it came right up to my nose as if someone had just stuffed some smelly tofu deep into my nose.

I was wearing a face mask and I could still smell the full ‘power’ of the man on the flight. Imagine if there were no masks on. I think I would have fainted straight away and possibly pass away.

The flight was completely full so I could not change seats

I got up and hung out in the back of the plane and when the stewardess asked me to go back to my seat, I told her about the guy. She went over to my seat and then came back to me with her hand over her nose.

She let me sit in the flight attendant’s jump seat for a few hours until we got turbulence and I was forced back to my seat. Got off the plane with the worst headache of my life.

I wrote a feedback letter to the company stating that the stewardess had done her best in a crazy situation.

I wish each airline have a policy or plan on how to handle this kind of people.
