Hi all, anyone encounter a random guy ring your doorbell and then still try his luck to press your digital lock to see if able to open?

This happened today! 11 March 2024. I would like to gain awareness on this matter. Hope to alert people who has digital lock pad to be careful.

Luckily, my husband was at home today and this random guy came to our door and ring the doorbell first. After knowing no one came to open the door he then PRESSED our digital lock pad like he is trying this luck to see if the lock pad will open (many times)). My husband was shocked by his move and went to open the door immediately and asked him “May I help you?”. The way he replied was worry and speechless. Still dare to tell my husband he went to the wrong unit! Wrong unit?!!!! BULLSHIT! what an excuse! Seems like he is not alone! look at the photos taken.

I don’t know what are they trying to do but please stay safe people. Make sure to keep your door and gate locked well!
