MCA has ruled out joining the opposition Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, saying the presence of PAS makes such an alliance unacceptable to the Chinese community.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said that controversial statements by some PAS leaders, which he described as conservative and insensitive to other religions, make it difficult for non-Muslim parties to accept PN.
