Madeleine McCann suspect denied day out of jail as 'guards can’t stand him'
Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner is reportedly being denied day release from jail because prison guards refuse to be seen with him in public. Brueckner is serving a seven-year sentence after he was convicted of raping a woman in 2005 in the same part of Portugal from where Madeleine went missing in May 2007.
