BANGKOK: Irfan Shamsuddin once again underlined his status as Southeast Asia’s undisputed discus king after clinching his seventh consecutive SEA Games gold medal on Tuesday (Dec 16).

The 30-year-old from Negri Sembilan sealed the title in emphatic fashion by smashing the Games record with a throw of 60.23m on his second attempt at the Supachalasai Stadium.
