KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 30): The Producer Price Index (PPI) for local production decreased 3% year-on-year (y-o-y) in November 2020, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM).

In a statement today, chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the decrease in the overall index was attributed to a slump in mining (-45.8%), electricity and gas supply (-0.2%) and manufacturing (-0.1%).
