Malaysia-based iPrice Group secures $1.5m from Woowa Brothers

Ecommerce aggregator iPrice Group announced it has raised US$1.5 million in its latest round of funding to help it roll out more partnerships and develop its product.

Given Woowa Brothers’ investment, iPrice said the deal may pave a way for potential partnerships with Foodpanda and its parent firm Delivery Hero.Iprice has previously partnered with the likes of Home Credit in Indonesia, Thairath in Thailand, Go Rewards in the Philippines, Boost in Malaysia, ViSenze in Singapore, and SmartPay in Vietnam.Woowa Brothers’ investment marks the second capital injection for iPrice after its series B round in September 2020. At the time, the company raised an undisclosed amount from JG Digital Equity Ventures.Launched in 2014, iPrice runs three business lines: price comparison for electronics and health and beauty, product discovery for fashion and home and living, and coupons across all verticals.
