Malaysia end Junior World Cup well off the pace in 13th
PETALING JAYA: Malaysia wrapped up their Junior Hockey World Cup in 13th place after defeating Japan in the shootout in India on Tuesday (Dec 8).
The match at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium had ended in a 1-1 draw, with Malaysia’s Azimuddin Syakir Kamaruddin scoring the first goal of the night in the 29th minute.
