This is why celebrities need bodyguards escorting them wherever they go

At the recent K-STAR SPARK IN VIETNAM concert, K-pop star G-Dragon was almost besieged by an unruly fan.

According to a now-viral video on Weibo, the 36-year-old Bigbang singer was performing his 2013 hit 'Crooked' when a man suddenly ran onto the stage.

Thanks to the quick reflexes of a few of GD's male dancers, they immediately ran over to stop the fan before he got to the star. A few security guards also swooped on stage to pull the feral fan down.

Despite that, the fanboy did not back down, and repeatedly screamed for GD while waving his hand.

At first, GD merely stood at the same spot and continued singing while staring at the mayhem at the side of the stage.

But the man himself soon had to step in after realising that the fan had no intentions to get off the stage, even after being tackled by the dancers for quite some time.

GD walked over to take a closer look, and was also seen gesturing with his hands, asking the fan to calm down.

It took a while and a lot of tugging before the fan was finally subdued and brought off the stage. The star then continued his performance.

The video has shocked netizens with how unhinged the fan was, and many praised GD for staying professional and gentle despite the chaos.

"It took so many people to catch that guy, this is too crazy," said one netizen.

Never underestimate the willpower of an overly-obsessed fan.
