A Malaysian man has been slammed online after trying to sell this, er, treasured family sofa on Facebook.

Yes, this worn out, crusty couch that looks like it survived a zombie apocalypse.

Facebook user Vincelee Shuh Ming posted in the Bukit Indah Facebook Group, saying his family was moving out and wanted to let go one of their most beloved pieces of furniture. The price tag?

A very cheap price of 288 ringgit (S$86.80).

“Whether it’s considered 'classic' or not, I don’t care — I just like this style,” he described in his post.

It is unclear if Vincelee managed to find a buyer before moving out, but the post quickly went viral.

Netizens thought it was a joke, flooding the comments section.

“I think you meant I would need to PAY YOU 288 ringgit to accept the sofa, right?” someone commented.

Another asked, “Was there a murder committed on it?”

A netizen even said, “If you send it to the cleaners, their workers will need to take medical leave.”

However, there were some people who didn’t mind how the sofa looked.

A netizen even offered 250 ringgit to take it off the owner’s hands, on the condition it doesn’t smell.

No word on how it actually smells, but we're waiting with bated breath for the answer.

Another netizen even wrote, “So ugly… But I still kinda want one”.

Guess one man’s trash is another man’s (questionable) treasure.
